Job description

At Rubicon Organics, our vision is to be the most trusted house of premium cannabis brands – creating elevated experiences for people everywhere. Our mission is to build brands people believe in by delivering elevated experiences in all we do. Through uncompromising quality, purposeful innovation, and trusted partnerships, we create products and relationships that enrich lives and help shape the future of cannabis.

About The Role

The Provincial Sales Manager will play a key role in how Rubicon manages and grows its business with Canada's provincial cannabis boards, including BCLDB, AGLC and OCS, with additional support for SQDC. This role combines provincial relationship management, commercial execution and analytics. You will work closely with provincial board counterparts to support new listings, manage purchase order flow, monitor inventory and sales performance, and identify opportunities and risks across Rubicon's portfolio. Internally, you will connect Sales with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain, bringing timely market and customer insights into forecasting and planning. You will play an important role in improving forecast accuracy, inventory visibility and Rubicon's evolving S&OP process. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Vancouver area.

We value curiosity, accountability and people who are comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get things done.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key provincial boards, including BCLDB, AGLC and OCS, while supporting Rubicon's relationship with SQDC.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product, category and market presentations to provincial board partners, using data and insights to strengthen Rubicon's position and identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate provincial listing submissions with Brand and other internal partners, including sell-in materials, timelines, follow-ups and execution requirements.
  • Manage purchase order flow and monitor provincial inventory, sales performance and availability to identify risks and opportunities early.
  • Own the quality and timeliness of provincial sales inputs into the demand planning process and challenge assumptions where customer, inventory or market information suggests a different outlook.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to review forecast accuracy, inventory performance, listings and market trends.
  • Translate provincial sales, inventory and market data into clear insights and recommended actions for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial reporting, forecasting discipline, sales processes and cross-functional communication.
What You'll Bring

We especially encourage candidates with unconventional experience, education or career paths to apply, even if you don't meet every qualification listed below.

  • Confidence working with large datasets, sales and reporting tools, and demand planning or business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
Experience
