  • Assist in the preparation of continuous disclosure documents, including the MD&A, Annual Information Form, AGM materials, ESG-related materials, and other public company filings as required.
  • Prepare working papers and analyses for key financial reporting areas such as debt, equity, share-based compensation, corporate accruals, and other complex or judgmental areas.

  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and contribute to ongoing process improvements, including reporting timelines, templates, controls, and cross-functional information flows.
  • Support the preparation of investor communications, including investor updates, press releases, earnings presentations, and financial decks, in collaboration with Finance and cross-functional teams.

  • Support controls over cash movements and assist with treasury-related projects as required.
  • Support the preparation of financial materials for other leadership reporting needs.
  • Assist with tax filings, including sales tax, corporate income tax, and payroll-related filings such as EHT and WCB, and respond to regulatory and government information requests as needed.
What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of IFRS and interest in developing depth in public company reporting requirements.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally with exposure to financial reporting, audit, and public company environments.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and PowerBI is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in cannabis, consumer packaged goods, startup/high-growth environments, Big 4/public accounting, public company reporting, TSX/TSX-V reporting, or investor relations is considered an asset.
