Job summary

BC SPCA is seeking a Senior Officer, Community Giving (Provincial) to lead fundraising initiatives across British Columbia. The role partners with Community Animal Centres, volunteers, and supporters to grow donor engagement, expand community giving programs, and strengthen fundraising capacity.

The position sits in PE&A and involves coaching staff and volunteers, developing resources, and managing campaigns to meet budgets and performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree required; 5–8 years fundraising experience in community giving or related field.
• Ability to develop, evaluate and rollout community giving initiatives across multiple locations.
• Experience coaching volunteers and staff; strong donor engagement and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and expansion of provincial community giving initiatives across BC.
• Provide fundraising leadership, guidance and support to Community Animal Centres.
• Recruit, train and support volunteer committees and staff; build resources and toolkits.
