TOUCHWOOD CHILD AND FAMILY INC. is seeking a Child & Family Services Protection Worker to safeguard children and support families across Touchwood member nations in Saskatchewan. The role emphasizes case management, safety planning, and collaboration with communities to address protection concerns.

The position requires a University Bachelor's Degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed. Local travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• BSW/BISW or related degree required.
• Excellent communication abilities and computer literacy.
• Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing management of cases in accordance with agency policy
• Act on all reports of child abuse neglect and abandonment
• Place children in need of protection with alternate care givers
• Provide counselling and support services
• Ensure appropriate placement resources are available and that the children in care are supervised and monitored appropriately
• Case plans are Developed, continuously reviewed and updated as needed
• Complete a comprehensive family social history and genogram with the family and maintain on file
• Duty to report
• Ensure safety standards of care are being followed and comply by quality assurance standards of the agency
