Job summary

Save-On-Food is hiring a Protective Services Guard for our Duncan, BC locations. You will identify theft and fraud, maintain a safe environment, greet customers, and conduct security audits across stores.

Responsibilities include arrests and evidence documentation, with reports as required. Candidates should hold a BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement, have reliable transportation, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement is required.
• Reliable transportation to travel between store locations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify theft, mischief, and fraud.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
• Observe, greet customers and approach situations with a customer-first mindset.
• Conduct security audits of the building and assets.
• Perform arrests, recoveries, and product recoveries.
• Document evidence and prepare clear, concise reports.
