Saskatchewan Ltd. in Prince Albert is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Childrens Service Workers to provide protective, preventative and supportive services for children and families. This role uses the P.R.I.D.E.

model and Family Centered Case Management. You will collaborate across foster and biological families, collateral agencies, and community partners to plan for long-term care, honor First Nations and Metis perspectives, and address barriers to access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain open, honest working relationships and encourage teamwork with clients, foster families, biological families, collateral agencies, and colleagues within the unit and community.
• Plan for children requiring long-term care, often in cooperation with First Nation Child and Family Service agencies.
• Apply knowledge of multicultural beliefs and values, with particular emphasis on First Nations and Metis perspectives.
• Apply understanding of poverty, systemic barriers, and socio-economic issues and their impact on individuals and families.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure access to services and resources, remove barriers to independence, and promote overall well-being.
