The Property Manager is responsible for managing Toro Group’s Residential Property Portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Vice-President at Toro Aluminum, you will work closely with senior management, purchasing, accounting departments, vendors, and tenants.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee, maintain, and inspect designated buildings and properties.
  • Coordinate with service providers to ensure work is completed to standards, on time, and safely.
  • Manage financial tasks: rent collection, bill approvals, budgeting, expenditure scheduling, and variance analysis.
  • Handle property acquisitions and leases, communicating with ownership, vendors, brokers, insurance, legal, and accounting.
  • Maintain properties by resolving tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting units, and managing repairs, renovations, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Manage tenants' legal processes, lease agreements, security deposits, rent collection, renewals, safety compliance, and customer service.
  • Address tenant inquiries, complaints, violations, and issues.
  • Maintain property records in the management system.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • CPM or similar designation preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 5 years in residential property management; experience with commercial or industrial properties is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office and property management software (Yardi Breeze preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of property regulations (e.g., Residential Tenancies Act).
  • Discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy, and good listening skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
