Position Description

Cogir is currently looking for a property manager in Montreal to manage 115 units in our Central Rosemont building. If monotony scares you, this job is for you!

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the regional director and intervene with specific action plans as required.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize rental performance.
• Jointly develop management plans with the regional manager for high-level, multi-let properties.
• Ensure high-quality customer service.
• Manage the building's operations according to established plans.
• Oversee a multidisciplinary team providing building services and ensure full service execution.
• Manage rent collection and deposits according to current standards.
• Handle purchase orders and invoices.
• Manage the monthly budget.
• Plan tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth operations and building security.
• Maintain exemplary maintenance quality for tenants, property spaces, and systems.
• Manage apartment renovations as per regional management programs.
• Collaborate with regional teams on capital works and file registration with the Régie du Logement.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in administration or a relevant field, or 3-5 years of experience in multi-housing or real estate.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Sales and marketing skills.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis, business planning, and execution.
