Homes First Society in Toronto is seeking a full-time Property Management Safety and Compliance Coordinator to oversee health, safety, fire, and life-safety compliance across housing and shelter sites.
You will conduct routine inspections, maintain records, identify safety issues, and coordinate corrective actions with site teams to ensure safe environments for residents, clients, and staff. Travel between locations is required.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting health, safety, fire and life-safety compliance across Homes First’s housing and shelter locations.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for conducting routine site inspections, maintaining compliance records, identifying safety concerns, and coordinating the corrective work needed to provide safe environments for residents, clients, and employees.

To qualify, you will need 1+ year of experience in fire safety, life-safety systems, or health and safety work involving fire and life-safety responsibilities, along with a college or university certificate or diploma in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire and Emergency Services, Fire and Life Safety, or a recognized equivalent.
