Job summary

InterRent is seeking a Property Maintenance & Cleaning Technician to keep the property at 8405 Place Saint-Charles, Brossard, clean, safe, and welcoming for residents. You will perform general cleaning and day-to-day minor maintenance to a high standard, with responsibilities expanding to safety inspections and seasonal tasks.

The role requires fluency in French, experience in commercial or residential cleaning, and hands-on skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and finishing work.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or janitorial cleaning.
• Experience in maintenance and light construction tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, finishing).
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, common areas, and vacant units.
• Perform daily cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, restroom servicing.
• Perform minor maintenance and preventative tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls promptly.
• Conduct daily inspections identifying safety or maintenance concerns.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal and landscaping as required.
• Follow health and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Perform other related duties within scope of the role.

As our Property Maintenance & Cleaning Technician, at 8405 Place Saint-Charles, Brossard.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform general cleaning duties, ensuring the property is maintained in a clean, safe, and welcoming condition for our residents. The remaining responsibilities will include completing day-to-day minor maintenance repairs to a high standard, contributing to the overall satisfaction and comfort of our residents. Additional duties are outlined below.

Responsibilities will include, at a minimum:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of buildings, common areas, and vacant units;
• Completing daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, and restroom servicing;
• Performing minor maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance as required;
• Responding to maintenance requests and emergency calls in a timely manner;
• Conducting daily inspections and identifying safety or maintenance concerns;
• Performing seasonal duties such as snow removal and landscaping as required;
• Following all health and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment; and
• Performing other related duties within the scope of the role.

Must Haves

• Must be fluent in French.
• Previous experience in commercial, residential, or janitorial cleaning.
• Working knowledge and professional experience in a wide variety of maintenance and light construction tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and finishing work.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Must be proficient using a computer and MS-Office.
