About the role
We are looking for a Property Claims Specialist to join our growing team!
You will be responsible for reviewing estimates from our RELY vendors and third party vendors. You will occasionally be asked to support with catastrophic event assistance on reviewing additional estimates from other regions, or supporting in writing estimates. You will be a liaison between our adjusting unit and the contractors to help facilitate quantum control on estimates submitted to us.
What you'll do here:
Evaluate property damage and evaluate replacement or restoration requirements including direct and in-person contact with insured, claimants, and service providers
Prepare repair estimates using Xactimate
Maintain effective communication channels with claims departments
Audit contractor's estimates in XactAnalysis for compliance with Rely Guidelines
Collaborate with adjusting teams to verify scope of work with respect to coverage confirmation
Review and analyze all documentation from contractors, ensuring quantum control
Establish and maintain productive business relationships with contractors and other service providers
What you bring to the table:
College Diplomaor any combination of equivalent education and experience
A minimum of 3 years related restoration/construction experience
Comprehensive knowledge of construction and repair procedures
Effective verbal communication skills with experience in negotiating, coaching and dealing with clients
Good written communication skills to draft claims reports
Knowledge of software packages for estimating
Computer proficiency with Xactanalysis/Xactimate
Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:
$55,700.00 - $83,500.00What we offer
