Aviva Canada is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster for property claims, overseeing third party and direct-handled cases. The role emphasizes quality, customer experience, and collaboration with specialists and vendors.
The position is hybrid, balancing on-site and remote work to deliver efficient indemnity and excellent service. You will handle investigations, quantification, analysis, adjustment, and settlement while ensuring adherence to best practices and policies.
Individually we are people, but together we are Aviva. Individually these are just words, but together they are our Values – Care, Commitment, Community, and Confidence.
At Aviva Canada, we put people first, our employees, our customers, and our communities. We’re proud of a culture built on care, inclusion, and collaboration, where your voice matters and your growth is supported. We’re not just about insurance; we’re about making a real difference by protecting what matters most.
In this role, you will be responsible for both the oversight and management of third party adjusted claims and direct handled claims. Unlike the large loss adjusters who are on site and gather information directly, the examiners provide direction and oversight over the execution of the required steps and customer service rendered by a Third Party Adjuster. You will ensure alignment with Aviva’s best practices and handling procedures. You will manage the IA in the investigation, quantification, analysis, adjustment, and settlement of property claims. With a focus on quality and customer experience, you will need to work with appropriate specialists and premier vendors. The work will be conducted in an efficient manner to control the indemnity spend and expenses without compromising the delivery of outstanding customer service.
Aviva recognizes the importance of being flexible and the benefits of being together, this role will be hybrid – the best of both worlds.
