Job summary

River Cree Resort & Casino in Alberta is seeking a Promotions Coordinator to execute on-property promotions, events, tournaments, and entertainment experiences that engage guests and drive visitation. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in promotions, event coordination, hospitality, entertainment, gaming, or customer service is assets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Host gaming promotions, tournaments, contests, giveaways, and special events.
• Make announcements and engage guests using a microphone in a professional, confident manner.
• Facilitate games, contests, and interactive guest experiences across the resort.
• Promote events, concerts, dining offerings, and promotions as a River Cree ambassador.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and teardown, including signage and materials.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure successful events and compliance with regulations.

The Promotions Coordinator plays a key role in executing on-property promotions, events, tournaments, and entertainment experiences that engage guests and drive visitation.

The Promotions Coordinator plays a key role in executing on-property promotions, events, tournaments, and entertainment experiences that engage guests and drive visitation.

This highly interactive position requires an energetic, outgoing individual who is comfortable speaking in front of large crowds, hosting promotions and contests, and serving as a brand ambassador for the Resort. The Promotions Coordinator will work closely with internal departments, vendors, and guests to ensure all promotions and special events are executed professionally and create memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Host gaming promotions, tournaments, contests, giveaways, and special events.
• Make announcements and engage guests using a microphone in a professional, confident, and entertaining manner.
• Facilitate games, contests, and interactive guest experiences throughout the resort.
• Act as an ambassador for River Cree Resort & Casino and promote upcoming events, concerts, dining offerings, and promotions.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and teardown, including signage, decorations, promotional materials, and equipment.
• Ensure all promotions and events are conducted in accordance with established procedures and gaming regulations.
• Provide exceptional guest service and proactively engage guests to increase participation in promotions.
• Distribute promotional materials, prizes, and giveaways.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Slots, Table Games, Player Development, Food & Beverage, Security, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
• Facilitate the workings of an HP large format printer
• Communicate with vendors and partners regarding promotional and event requirements.
• Assist with social media content capture and on-site event support.
• Maintain accurate records related to promotions, prize distributions, and event activities.
• Install and remove marketing collateral throughout the property as required.
• Monitor event spaces to ensure a professional presentation and guest experience.
• Look out for the safety of yourself and coworkers and follow all Health & Safety requirements in the workplace.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in promotions, event coordination, hospitality, entertainment, gaming, or customer service is considered an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking on a microphone in front of large groups and engaging live audiences.
• Strong public speaking, hosting, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to remain energetic, enthusiastic, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift and move promotional materials and event equipment as required.
• Valid Driver's License is an asset.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
