Job summary

EXP Cambridge, ON is hiring a Project Technologist to support building evaluations, condition assessments, and restoration projects for residential, commercial and new construction. You will work with engineers, architects and clients to develop practical, technically sound solutions.

You will conduct site reviews, help develop specifications, and contribute to business development while maintaining high attention to detail and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a consulting engineering setting, with building science/restoration exposure.
• Solid understanding of construction practices, materials, and building systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of accuracy in calculations, measurements, and documentation.
• Able to work independently and in a project team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site reviews to document conditions and identify performance concerns.
• Assess data to diagnose deficiencies and propose repair or improvement strategies.
• Stay informed on building science innovations, sustainability practices, and codes.
• Support senior staff in providing technical direction to junior team members and clients.
• Prepare drawings and specifications for restoration and rehab projects.
