Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation team in our Oshawa Office.
A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin
- Perform Environmental Site Assessments to support both transactional due diligence (CSA) and Records of Site Condition under Ontario Regulation 153/04 (O.Reg 153/04
- Complete Phase I Site Assessments including Site visits, historical and regulatory reviews and report preparation.
- Complete Phase II Environmental Site Assessments including drilling oversight, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring and sampling, surveying, Site plan creation and report preparation.
- Assist with determining appropriate recommendations.
- Liaise with Site representatives and contractors.
What You Bring To The Pinchin Team
- A degree or diploma in a related discipline, preferably in environmental science, environmental technology, geology, geography or engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in environmental consulting will be considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Reg. 153/04 and the Phase I and II CSA Standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills
- Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to travel for work within the Durham Region and Greater Toronto Area. Occasional travel within other areas of Ontario may be required.
- Availability to occasionally work outside of core business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
