Job description

Today is the day to boost your career!Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Ottawa Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
  • Conduct historical and regulatory research
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical reports
  • Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites
  • Liaise with subcontractors
  • Support project scope development and implementation
  • Work in a both self-lead and team environments
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives
  • Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 1 to 3 years’ related experience
  • Proficiency in both English and French is considered an asset
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
