A leading gold mining company in Toronto is seeking an experienced Project Services Manager to lead scheduling and project coordination for the Great Bear project. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years in project controls, with a strong focus on mining projects. Responsibilities include managing documentation, leading a team, and ensuring effective communication across project functions. This position offers a significant opportunity in a groundbreaking project with full site rotations beginning in 2027.

In March 2022 Kinross acquired Great Bear Resources and its flagship Great Bear project (GBR), located near Red Lake, Ontario. The Great Bear property is a greenfield, large‑scale deposit with the potential for significant open pit and underground operations. In early 2025, the project moved into the detailed engineering and major equipment procurement phase. The Preliminary Economic Assessment released in September 2024 indicated a total initial project capital of $1.4B USD.
Reporting to the VP & Project Director, the Project Services Manager is responsible to lead all aspects of schedule management, progress reporting, document control, insurance management, and risk management requirements for GBR. The incumbent is accountable to ensure that all departments are supported with the required information for effective decision making. The Project Services Manager will initially lead a team of 3 people, which is expected to grow to ~6 personnel during the construction execution phase.
This position is initially based out of Toronto, with periodic rotations to site. Full site rotations are expected to begin in Q2 2027.
