Job Description

Project Centre Sales Representatives are sales professionals who partner with customers to fully understand their needs and assist in planning construction and renovation projects. As knowledgeable sales professionals, project sales representatives can make recommendations that solve customers’ problems. This work is fast-paced, engaging, and highly rewarding when customers appreciate your efforts and make a purchase. The position offers a base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales through engaging with customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
  2. Clarify and understand customers’ needs and recommend the best solutions for their projects
  3. Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and product offerings
  4. Take initiative and confidently guide customer interactions
  5. Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets
  6. Produce quotes, material lists, and follow up with customers
  7. Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service
  8. Resolve customer challenges efficiently and effectively
  9. Continuously learn about products and market conditions
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in sales and customer service
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
  • Confident, persuasive, energetic, and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve sales objectives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software
  • Knowledge of building materials and construction processes is an asset
  • Ability to quickly build trust with new customers and maintain rapport with existing ones by providing quality service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
