Job summary

Rexel Canada in Mississauga is seeking a Project Quotations Specialist to quote new tendered jobs, assess feasibility of requested specs, and ensure alignment with customer needs and Westburne requirements.

Reporting to the GTA Quotations Manager, you will support quotations and project management teams, liaise with vendors, obtain RFQs, prepare takeoffs, and help deliver accurate, timely pricing.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Prior quotations experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Quote all new jobs that are out for tender and determine if requested specifications are achievable and in line with customer and Westburne requirements.
• Report to the GTA Quotations Manager and support the quotations and project management teams.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors and internal staff to obtain RFQs and coordinate specifications.
• Coordinate layout of specifications including electrical takeoffs from single line diagrams and assembling lighting and distribution information packages.
• Negotiate with key suppliers to obtain project pricing.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, supporting sales initiatives and ensuring the corporate image is reflected.

Job Description

As the ProjectQuotations Specialist based in Mississauga, you will efficiently quote all new jobs that are out for tender, which will require the ability to determine if requested specifications are achievable and in line with both the requirements of our customer and for Westburne. Reporting to the GTA Quotations Manager, you will support the quotations and project management teams.

• You have prior quotations experience in a similar industry
