The role involves leading and executing large-scale industrial projects from initiation to delivery, with full responsibility for budget, schedule, and outcomes. It emphasizes continuous improvement through methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile, while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.Location: St. Laurent, QC (4 days on-site)Job Type: HybridResponsibilities
- Implement improvement projects.
- Define, monitor, and control project progress, milestones, and checkpoints.
- Be responsible for the overall execution of your projects, from initiation to delivery.
- Assume budget responsibility for large-scale projects up to $1 million.
- Assume schedule responsibility.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement using problem-solving techniques and the concepts of Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking, and Agile.
- Be responsible for the investment and replacement of obsolete machinery/equipment within manufacturing.
- Provide a financial (business case) and technical justification for project definition and operation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both within and outside the department.
- Work with resource managers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial project management.
- PMP, PMI-ACP certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of logistics activities.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset.
