Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a seasoned Project Planner to support planning and scheduling across major EPC projects. You will develop, maintain, and report on schedules, aligning with project objectives and performance standards.

You will prepare schedules, load resources, set baselines, and guide junior planners while coordinating with cost controllers and project leads. Strong Excel/Primavera skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of planning experience in an EPC project environment.
• Experience with project controls systems and reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, earned value, and progress measurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

About you

• University Degree (e.g., B.Eng, B.Com, etc.).
• 5+ years of planning experience in an EPC project environment.

• Familiarity with project controls policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and support project cost controllers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
