Job summary

Maple Reinders Constructors in Ontario is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Water and Wastewater projects within our civil division. This is a site-based role requiring daily travel to assigned projects and leadership to ensure schedule, safety, quality, and effective communication.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Project Manager for a general contractor, a Civil Engineering degree or technology diploma, and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

  • 5+ years as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor.
  • University Degree or Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel to site.

Responsibilities

  • Define project schedule and budget, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Lead project team to deliver on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining quality and safety.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure Maple Reinders' processes are followed.
  • Travel to project sites on a daily basis as required.

is currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our Civil construction division in Ontario.

As a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to manage exciting Water and Wastewater projects working alongside other construction professionals who are passionate about the work they do. Leadership and accountability is the key to a successful project. Along with their team, our Project Managers define the schedule; working to ensure that goals are met and communication is maintained. This role is site based and will require daily travel to the project you will be assigned to.

  • Developing successful relationships with clients, consultants, architects, sub-contractors and other project stakeholders
  • Effectively managing the project with the skills they have and following Maple Reinders' process and procedures ensuring each project is delivered with quality and consistency
  • Sharing your knowledge by mentoring junior Project Managers and Coordinators, guiding them to progress in their careers

Our Project Managers are responsible for Water, Wastewater related projects typically in the value of $20-$50M. To quality for this position, the ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 or more years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor
  • A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
  • Travel to site required.
  • Experience working on Renewable Natural Gas and or Water/Wastewater projects is considered an asset

Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 / Year (depending on experience)

Location: Mix of in-office (Mississauga, ON) and on-site (Bradford, ON or Georgina, ON)
