Job Summary

The project manager oversees all phases of the project timeline to allow our Outside Sales Engineers (OSEs) to maintain at least 60% outside focus.

Salary Range: $80K - $90K

Essential Functions

The Project Manager facilitates project development through product sizing and selection, quote development, order processing, material tracking, project updates, and communication with involved parties. Employees may perform other duties as needed.

Sales Responsibilities
  • Update OSEs and customers on delivery schedule changes.
  • Use Salesforce daily to ensure opportunity accuracy.
  • Communicate opportunity status within Salesforce.
  • Utilize Salesforce Chatter to keep parties updated.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of the open order pipeline.
  • Interpret bid documents with OSEs for equipment selection and quoting.
  • Proficiency with factory software/web tools required.
  • Consolidate information to assist OSEs.
  • Develop customer relationships and work on leads.
  • Coordinate information between OSEs and other departments.
  • Act as liaison via phone, email, video to facilitate coordination.
  • Provide application drawings based on customer needs.
  • Escalate and act urgently on expedited orders.
  • Manage manufacturer lead times and communicate updates.
  • Order entry accuracy, involving OSEs as needed.
  • Ensure order acknowledgments match submittals and purchase orders.
  • Work with Service Division for start-ups or warranty cases.
  • Follow wage procedures and communicate updates in meetings.
  • Discuss pricing and special requests with manufacturers.
  • Research EVPACO parts and prepare quotes.
  • Order entry for AZ sales orders.
  • Warehouse responsibilities will be developed as inventory builds.
  • Report trends to Division Sales Manager.
  • Travel for meetings, trainings, site visits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
  • 5+ years industry experience and HVAC/Plumbing AA degree or higher; 4-year degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
  • Background in Plumbing & HVAC.
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM tools.
Additional Experience
  • Technical sales experience.
  • Contractor industry experience.
