Job summary

Rohit Group is seeking a Technology Transformation Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives, including ERP and analytics systems. You will manage the full project lifecycle, align technology with business goals, and drive adoption through change management.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering on time and within budget in a complex organization. Occasional local travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred, not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for local travel to Rohit offices, project sites or vendor locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives, including ERP, document management, and analytics systems.
  • Oversee end-to-end software development life cycles from requirements to delivery and post-support.
  • Manage project budgets, milestones, risks, and scope; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT, business units and leadership to align technology solutions with strategic goals.

Job description

The Technology Transformation Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing technology-driven transformation initiatives across the organization. This role requires strategic planning, stakeholder management, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with business goals. The candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, driving innovation, efficiency, and digital enablement. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, organizing, staffing, and directing resources to ensure that it meets its intended goals on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Management & Execution
  • Act as and model the behaviors of an exemplary project manager in leading project management activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions, particularly in ERP, document management, and analytical systems within complex organizational structures.
  • Manage end-to-end software development life cycles, from gathering business requirements and defining product roadmaps to execution and post-project support.
  • Review and manage the preparation of feasibility studies, concept designs, preliminary and detailed design and design reports.
  • Manage, monitor and report project milestones status through detailed plans and schedules, ensuring the project is on budget, on schedule, and within the defined scope and quality.
  • Work with technical and solution-design teams to provide expert technical input on guidelines/standards development and implementation.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Builds customer-focused relationships, work with Business Analysts, aligns teams with goals, raises issues, schedules, and facilitates meetings.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior leadership, ensuring that technology solutions align with strategic business needs.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, training programs, and communication plans to drive system adoption.
Technology & Innovation Leadership
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement projects like enterprise resource planning (ERP), document management, analytics systems etc. to optimize decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Manage data integration, business intelligence, automation, and financial reporting initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish project KPIs, track performance metrics, and report progress to enterprise leadership.
  • Optimize project management methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline business processes.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess system impact and identify opportunities for enhancement and scalability.
Change Management
  • Experience with managing and implementing organizational changes related to projects.
  • Ability to guide teams through change and uncertainty.

This role requires a strategic mindset, stakeholder excellence and technical expertise to successfully manage and deliver projects that contribute to organizational success.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Release Management. Manages the release schedule, plans and executes deployments, collaborates with stakeholders, ensures completion of the development scope, and maintains risk mitigation plans.
  • Processes and procedures. Develops, executes, and continuously improves product lifecycle management processes and procedures.
  • Maintain approved project budgets, business cases, and benefits-realization documentation.
  • Develop detailed project plans and track progress against schedules.

Technical & Business Skills
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, AI, automation, and emerging tech trends.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and align technology solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Asana).
Leadership & Communication
  • Ability to drive change in a complex environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with executives and teams.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage project challenges.
Problem-Solving & Decision Making
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate project roadblocks.
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure while balancing multiple priorities.

  • Flexibility in adapting to changing technology landscapes and business needs.
TRAVEL
  • Yes. Occasional local travel to Rohit offices, project sites, or vendor locations - approximately 10%.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field: Required.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification: Preferred, not required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Advanced in Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and governance
  • Advanced in Agile, Waterfall, hybrid delivery methodologies, and project management tools
  • Advanced in Stakeholder, vendor, communication, and change management
  • Background or experience in Computer Science is an asset
