The Project Manager-Sustainability supports sustainability value creation through cross-functional engagement and demonstrates Agropur’s progress by advancing sustainability performance with diverse stakeholders.

• Salary scale 006: $95,900 to $119,900 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills relevant to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

  • Provide project management services to Agropur’s workstreams to support the teams as they develop and execute short and long-term strategies that support the global dairy industry’s Net Zero by 2050 goals and Agropur’s Science Based Targets.
  • Lead Agropur’s carbon accounting, working closely with stakeholders and data owners, including data collection, calculations, documentation, verification, and annual reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement, carry out research and provide recommendations on industry programs and tools, and support modeling efforts by leveraging data to measure the impact of their initiatives.
  • Control all administrative aspects of projects and programs as well as accurately communicate with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Manage industry sustainability commitments and client engagement with the global workstream teams
  • Develop relationships with Category VPs and Business Unit Presidents and Operations Leaders
  • Make regular recommendations to senior management

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience required.
  • Food industry knowledge of sustainability objectives, goals, and programs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability metrics, emissions inventory protocols, carbon measurement, reporting standards such as GHG Protocol, CDP and SBTi, carbon offset and inset marketplace and procurement.
  • Project execution experience with carbon reduction.
  • Experience with the decarbonization of products for end consumers, using LCA modeling or similar tools preferred.
  • Leadership skills including strategic thinking, fostering teamwork, cultivating relationships, and demonstrable experience leading teams through change.
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software.
