The Role:

We have a seasoned multi-disciplinary team to support your land development projects. We offer comprehensive services, from commercial plans to urban subdivisions, ensuring optimal solutions and expertise in municipal approvals.

We prepare engineering documents that meet municipal standards, ensuring developments do not negatively impact surrounding properties or infrastructure. Our assessments also focus on minimizing environmental impacts for sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support, and communicate with staff, including workload planning, mentoring, and training.
  • Design engineering components such as storm and sanitary services, watermain, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility coordination.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals, consultants, and business leaders.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to coordinate project completion.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Land Development group through hiring, client acquisition, and exploring new opportunities.
  • Mentor engineering interns and technologists, guiding junior staff.
  • Prepare technical specifications and reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, government, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Prepare engineering service proposals.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and client needs to inform project solutions.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years of land development project experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil3D.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is an asset.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Understanding of the land development process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Experience with project management and consulting engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of modeling software (e.g., PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, EPANET).
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and insurance.
