Position Description

Boosted.ai is looking for a Project Manager / Scrum Master to help support the rapid growth of our business. As Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will lead all Scrum ceremonies with multiple product-specific development teams consisting of designers, engineers, and product managers. You will facilitate communication between teams and ensure synergistic alignment. You will guide the team and projects from conception through launch.We aim to deliver tangible business outcomes and therefore the ideal candidate should be familiar with an outcome-oriented approach to project management.

This is a fantastic opportunity in a fast-growing industry and company. Given the domain we operate in, knowledge of FinTech / Finance applications and interest in AI / ML application in Investment Management is an asset.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Lead Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives
• Lead Brainstorming sessions, and backlog grooming
• Have a solid understanding of development life cycle as well as expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices
• Take outcome-oriented approach to project planning, development and tracking to ensure we deliver tangible and measurable results
• Track, measure and analyze project / team progress and outcomes
• Manage and identify project risks and quality
• Work with product team to understand and set priorities for the development team
• Implement processes to optimize efficiency and productivity of the design and engineering teams
• Assist in identifying and removing roadblocks and dependencies
• Understand product goals and articulate customer problems, and know how to translate them into solutions
• Collaborate closely with your teammates in product, design, engineering, customer success to work through technical capabilities and constraints and assess opportunities.
• Hold teams accountable for delivery and consistently following an agile mindset to meet product roadmap initiatives and milestones
• Analyze and evaluate Boosted.Ai's processes and identify potential improvement opportunities

Who You Are (Skills and Attributes)

• 3+ years demonstrated ability as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, and / or Delivery Manager, with a track record of guiding teams on how to use agile methods and coaching on continuous improvement and self-organization
• Proficiency in outcome-oriented project management including feature development driven by fast, iterative development approach
• Working knowledge of and ability to develop and implement specific Project / Process KPIs / OKRs and Metrics to drive improvements
• Experience with B2B / Enterprise SaaS for financial services / capital markets / Fintech and interest in AI / ML for investment management is a strong asset
• Curiosity, a willingness to learn and out of the box thinking
• Detail-oriented with great time management skills and experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate with business areas, high-value customers and executive leadership
• Excellent leadership skills with an ability to establish and maintain strong relationships; influence stakeholders in written and oral communications and able to work effectively at key levels of the organization
• Exceptional communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience with SCRUM / Agile methodologies with enterprise level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred
• Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Product Board, Visio, MS Project and all Office tools
