Job summary

isgSearch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation within a global automotive manufacturing context in the North York area. The role requires coordinating Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, with external partners to deliver a successful implementation.

The candidate will manage planning, risks, data migration, and go-live activities, while providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in ERP, Finance transformation, or large-scale business transformation.
• Proven SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or transformation experience.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and ERP environments.
• Experience working with Finance, IT, Operations, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Manage Finance transformation workstreams from requirements through implementation.
• Coordinate Finance, IT, SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.

Job title: Project Manager, SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation

Salary: Approximately $120/hour

Our client: A global automotive manufacturing organization based in the North York region.

Intro paragraph: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation. This role will lead key project activities across Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and implementation partners within a complex manufacturing environment.

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

• Lead project planning, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Manage Finance transformation workstreams from requirements through implementation.
• Coordinate Finance, IT, SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Lead workshops and drive requirements, decisions, and issue resolution.

Qualifications and pre-requisites:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within ERP, Finance transformation, or large-scale business transformation.
• Proven SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or transformation experience.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and ERP environments.
• Experience working with Finance, IT, Operations, and senior stakeholders.
• Manufacturing or automotive experience strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, competing priorities, and external implementation partners.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.

Additional information or perks:

• Approximately $120/hour based on experience.
• Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend.
• Hybrid role based in North York.
• Onsite 1-4 days per week depending on project requirements, with increased onsite presence during key project phases.
• Immediate or short-term availability preferred.
