Job summary

NORR is seeking a Project Manager to plan and oversee multi‑discipline architectural and engineering projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery. You will lead a collaborative team, manage resources, and maintain strong client relationships to meet contractual commitments.

You will bring 10–15 years of project experience in residential or mixed portfolios, a solid grasp of project accounting, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors across phases.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in project management for architectural/engineering projects (10–15 years).
  • Strong understanding of project accounting to forecast revenue.
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplined teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables on time.
  • Residential project experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an integrated team of architects and engineers through QA/QC for drawings and specs.
  • Develop detailed work plans and allocate hours across disciplines.
  • Monitor progress, forecast revenue, and manage client relationships.
  • Negotiate scope, schedules, and budgets across project stages.
  • Coordinate with contractors and authorities on constructability issues.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to plan and manage projects to ensure that all contractual commitments are met on time and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will use your interpersonal and leadership skills and must have an understanding of project financials to determine the necessary resources required for successful project execution. In addition, you will provide leadership to a multi-disciplined team, monitor project performance, and forecast revenue.

You Will Make an Impact by

  • Negotiating, developing, monitoring, and controlling the scope of deliverables, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages
  • Developing a detailed work plan for all architectural and engineering disciplines, allocating hours to the work plan, and monitoring project progress
  • Leading an integrated team of architects and engineers in the quality assurance and quality control procedures for all deliverables, specifically the construction drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining a good understanding of the project scope and when changes to the scope occur, negotiating solutions to ensure outcomes meet client expectations and contractual obligations
  • Coordinating with contractor, sub-consultants, or relevant building authorities to address and document issues with constructability or owner concerns
  • Acting as the primary liaison with the client, contractor, and project team and ensuring close client relationships are maintained

You Will Bring to the Team

  • Architectural or engineering systems design and presentation, M&E and structural building systems, permit and building code
  • Registered with a relevant professional association is an asset
  • Experience in strategic development, business development, project management, and client management is required
  • Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • A strong understanding of project accounting is required in order to monitor project performance and forecast revenue
  • 10-15 years of project work experience
  • Experience in residential projects is an asset

The hiring base salary range for this vacant position is $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be based on several factors such as education, experience, internal equity and skills.
