Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced professional to lead multidiscipline mining and heavy industrial projects within Canada. You will drive resource and budget planning, coordinate engineering deliverables, and manage schedules and costs to ensure on-time success.

With 8+ years in consulting and 3+ years in project management, your strong communication and organizational skills will help you guide teams across diverse projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering; EIT/CET/P.Eng considered an asset.
  • 8+ years of consulting experience supporting mining and/or heavy industrial projects.
  • 3+ years of hands-on project management for multidiscipline environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Valid driver’s licence.

  • Optimize workforce planning to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time.
  • Own project schedules and cost control, delivering accurate, timely reports.

  • Champion HSE and quality standards, raising the bar for operational excellence.
  • Represent WSP confidently in meetings, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to scope-related matters.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to business development efforts through proposals, scope development, and client engagement.

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000

MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
