Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking an experienced project management professional to lead multidiscipline mining and heavy industrial projects. You will drive scheduling, budgeting, and deliverable coordination within a collaborative team, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in mining consulting, 3+ years managing multidisciplinary projects, and a strong ability to engage with clients.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree; EIT/CET/P.Eng. considered an asset.
• 8+ years consulting experience in mining/heavy industrial projects.
• 3+ years hands-on project management in multidiscipline environments.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships within diverse project teams.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and motivated to advance your career.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.

• Drive resource and budget planning to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across all disciplines for seamless execution.
• Optimize workforce planning to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time.
• Own project schedules and cost control, delivering accurate, timely reports.
• Manage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
• Champion HSE and quality standards, raising the bar for operational excellence.
• Represent WSP confidently in meetings, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
• Respond quickly and effectively to scope-related matters.
• Capture and share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to business development efforts through proposals, scope development, and client engagement.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with EIT, CET, or P.Eng. considered an asset.
• 8+ years of consulting experience supporting mining and/or heavy industrial projects.
• 3+ years of hands-on project management for multidiscipline project environments.
• Skilled at navigating client interactions within diverse project teams.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and motivated to advance your career.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000

MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
