Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager to lead the development of our Rental Deposits and Tenant Insurance platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, team leadership, and a focus on delivering user-friendly, scalable products from inception to deployment. You will prioritize development efforts, ensure quality, and collaborate closely with stakeholders and developers to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  1. Project & Task Management:
  2. Lead product development initiatives for Rental Deposits Now and Tenant Insurance.
  3. Manage daily sprints with developers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  4. Own the JIRA board, including task creation, prioritization, QA, and timely delivery.
  5. Facilitate daily stand-ups, testing, and troubleshooting to keep projects on schedule.
  6. Make strategic deployment decisions for marketing pages, customer, admin, and agent portals.

Application User Journeys

Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, create mockups, and assign tasks.

Tools & Platform Management:

  • Asana: Organize projects, track progress, and maintain timelines.
  • Stripe: Oversee payment processing integrations.
  • Figma: Collaborate on UI/UX designs, wireframes, and mockups.
  • Lucidchart: Develop flowcharts and process diagrams.
  • CRM Systems: Manage email journeys, automate workflows, and handle client data.
  • Zapier: Implement automation to streamline tasks and integrations.

Quality Assurance & Deployment

Own the QA process, liaise with developers, and ensure smooth deployment of features.

AI, Chatbot, Knowledge Tools

Monitor requests, build/update chatbot flows, and keep FAQs and 'smart serve' features current. Create documentation and SOPs for automation.

Internal Enablement & Training

Lead onboarding for new employees, develop tutorial scripts, and ensure effective system usage training.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in product management within a tech-driven environment.
  • Experience in InsurTech, FinTech, or PropTech is highly desirable.
  • Proficient with Asana, JIRA, Figma, Lucidchart, and automation tools.
  • Experience with CRMs, email automation, and lead management.
  • Knowledge of automation platforms like Zapier.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills:

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of chatbot management is a plus.
  • Experience working in a startup environment with scalable product delivery.
