Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Montreal, QC is seeking a Project Manager specializing in physical security. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver projects protecting people, sites, and assets, acting as the central contact between operations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Lead end-to-end security initiatives such as access control, video surveillance, perimeter protection, and alarm systems, with a focus on cost control, schedules, and safety audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management
• Bilingual in French and English
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Autonomous, proactive, and highly organized
• Experience in budget management and forecasting (trend analysis an asset)

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and develop project design plans
• Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and obtain required approvals
• Manage and track material orders
• Coordinate project planning and execution with internal teams
• Ensure rigorous control of costs, budgets, and schedules

• Communicate regular updates to stakeholders
• Adjust plans based on changes during the project
• Prepare project progress and performance reports

Description Du Poste

This position is a project manager role specializing in physical security, responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects related to the protection of people, sites, and the organization’s assets. The incumbent acts as a central point of contact between operational teams, specialized suppliers, and internal stakeholders, and leads end-to-end projects aimed at implementing, improving, and optimizing physical security infrastructure (access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, perimeter protection, etc.).
