Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Project Manager specialized in physical security to plan, coordinate, and deliver security-related projects across sites. You will lead end-to-end initiatives covering access control, video surveillance, alarms, and perimeter protection, acting as the central liaison among operations, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Role requires at least 3 years in project management, strong leadership, bilingual French-English communication, and ability to manage budgets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time.
  • Autonomous, proactive and highly organized.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client needs and develop project design plans.
  • Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and obtain required approvals.
  • Manage and track material orders.
  • Coordinate project planning and execution with internal teams.
  • Ensure rigorous control of costs, budgets, and schedules.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for professionals and consultants.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor progress.
  • Communicate regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare project progress and performance reports.
  • Conduct safety audits and advise on safety systems during site visits

This position is a project manager role specializing in physical security, responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects related to the protection of people, sites, and the organization's assets. The incumbent acts as a central point of contact between operational teams, specialized suppliers, and internal stakeholders, and leads end-to-end projects aimed at implementing, improving, and optimizing physical security infrastructure (access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, perimeter protection, etc.).

What you’re responsible for:

  • Analyze client needs and develop project design plans
  • Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and obtain required approvals
  • Manage and track material orders
  • Coordinate project planning and execution with internal teams
  • Ensure rigorous control of costs, budgets, and schedules
  • Act as the primary point of contact for professionals and consultants

  • Communicate regular updates to stakeholders
  • Adjust plans based on changes during the project
  • Prepare project progress and performance reports
  • Conduct safety audits (pre/post-project or as needed)
  • Advise internal clients on safety systems during site visits
Qualifications
