TGRC is looking for a Project Manager HVAC for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for renewal or extension based on performance and project requirements

Pay Range : D.o.E per hour

An experienced Project Manager in marine HVAC design, procurement, build, and commissioning is needed for a growing team in North Vancouver, B.C, Canada. Reporting to the Business Director, this role involves working on all project phases from concept to installation and commissioning.

Job Description :

Interpret customer specifications, requirements, and scopes of work.

Prepare and update project plans, including budgets, schedules, and staffing forecasts.

Prepare periodic progress and earned value reports.

Manage subcontractors to ensure project deliverables.

Resolve contract-related issues including product delivery schedules, quality, and cost challenges.

Act as the primary client contact and participate in client meetings.

Communicate with customers regarding equipment selection.

Prepare subcontract scopes of work, obtain quotes, and prepare purchase orders.

Coordinate and oversee construction, commissioning, and operational teams.

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior project staff.

Basic Qualifications :

University degree (BSc and / or MSc) in Marine Engineering or equivalent.

10+ years of experience in a similar marine position.

Proficiency in English; French is a plus but not required.
