EV.Careers is seeking a full-time Project Manager - Lighting on behalf of a leading commercial energy-efficiency company. You will independently manage a portfolio of turnkey lighting retrofit projects from pre-construction through closeout, owning scheduling, material management, and client communication.

Responsibilities include leading on-site execution for milestones, coordinating procurement, inspections, and closeout packages while ensuring quality and customer alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus two to seven years of related project management experience.
  • Experience in LED lighting, MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, or related construction projects.
  • Real field or construction project delivery and on-site execution.

  • Coordinate procurement logistics, BOMs, vendor coordination, shipping, and warehouse inventory.

EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time (direct hire) Project Manager - Lighting for one of our partners, a leading commercial energy-efficiency company that delivers turnkey LED lighting retrofit projects across the Pacific Northwest and nationally. In this position, you will independently manage a diverse portfolio of turnkey lighting retrofit projects from pre-construction through closeout, owning scheduling, material management, field coordination, and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute turnkey lighting retrofit projects, owning scope, timeline, budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio spanning warehouse, retail, exterior, and one-for-one lighting replacements, balancing timelines, resources, and priorities across a range of complexities.
  • Lead on-site execution for critical milestones including kickoff meetings, inspections, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring quality and customer alignment.
  • Resolve scope changes, logistics, contractor coordination, and site-specific constraints to keep projects on track, and serve as the primary customer contact.
  • Manage procurement logistics: bill of materials creation, vendor coordination, and oversight of shipping, material delivery, and warehouse inventory. Coordinate rebate and incentive eligibility with the Energy Program team.
  • Conduct pre and post installation inspections with customers, contractors, and utility partners, run final walkthroughs, energy re-audits, and customer training, and deliver complete closeout packages (photos, energy reports, commissioning results).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, plus two to seven years of related project management experience.
  • Real field / construction project delivery: managing installations, timelines, trades, and on-site execution.
  • Experience in LED lighting, MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, or similar construction / trade projects strongly preferred (general construction and trades backgrounds welcome).
  • OSHA 10 required. Valid, insurable driver's license required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis (no visa sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications

  • LED lighting, MEP, or electrical experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • OSHA 30.
  • Up to 10% annual gain-share bonus
