Emera Inc is seeking a permanent Project Manager (Interconnection) Engineer to lead Distribution Interconnection Projects at their Energy Control Centre in Halifax. We are currently looking for a permanent Project Manager(Interconnection) Engineerto join our Energy Control Centre’s team. Reporting to the Manager, Grid Operations and Security, you will lead the execution of Distribution Interconnections Projects from development to Construction and Commercial Operation.
Manage generator interconnection projects including initiation, planning, scheduling, procurement, and implementation.
Working closely with generator-interconnection customers to ensure that agreed-to milestone dates are met.
Provide Engineering support for the System Operators during day-to-day operations as well as for Storm support.
You will be responsible for personal safety, that of co-workers, and those under your direction, including contractors, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
