Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with the Business Project Leads to understand the project’s business requirements.
  2. Guide the project / program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource allocation management) for projects or programs.
  3. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements using best practice methods and tools.
  4. Own the creation and communication of a project plan to identify key milestones & deliverables, assess criticality, downstream impact if dates are missed, and determine alternative / mitigating actions.
  5. Ensure that high-quality deliverables are achieved on time and within budget by monitoring project deliverables and escalating when required to mitigate risks.
  6. Manage project scope and changes, and provide timely, concise communications to functional and executive leadership regarding project status and pending issues.
  7. Monitor project deliverables and escalate when required to mitigate risks. Manage project action status / trackers in adherence to prescribed timelines.
  8. Identify issues and potential risks within the project; proactively manage them to resolution and / or mitigation with the assistance of the Process and Technical Leads.
  9. Act as the Project Lead in the development of the project plan, design, and implementation plan in accordance with the client requirements.
  10. Facilitate activities across internal teams to ensure the program deliverables are on track and understood.
Experience and Educational Requirements

It is preferred that the ideal candidate possess experience in managing multiple projects, as well as experience in business administration, computer sciences, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. PMP certification or equivalent project management methodology training and hours are preferred; requires full project lifecycle and team leadership experience with large-scale implementations; demands cross-functional IT / business analysis background; requires a minimum of 4-6 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience, including management and / or project leadership.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

High business acumen in the pharmaceutical health services field, with demonstrated leadership experience in a high-growth, high-transaction, multi-location environment.

Strong project management skills, including managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in a cross-functional environment. Subject matter expertise (SME) in business processes using standard project methodology.

Technical expertise in project management support tools like MS Project, SmartSheet, Visio, MS Office Suite.

Subject matter expertise (SME) and understanding of business principles and processes relevant to the pharmaceutical services field.

Ability to organize, plan, and implement projects of various sizes and scopes.

Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and identify appropriate solutions.

Excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence decisions.

Leadership skills to direct team members working on projects.

Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion, and simplify complex situations. Capable of quickly building credibility and gaining respect as a technology and business expert with strong leadership, facilitation, and influencing skills.
