We are hiring an Enterprise Project Manager.

Canonical's mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Enterprise Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability. They manage complex projects involving evolving software technologies, ensuring customer and partner satisfaction through excellent stakeholder engagement.

Location: This is a globally remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, and resource expectations.
2. Identify and mitigate key technical and project risks and issues.
3. Maintain strong customer focus and collaborate with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
4. Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers, providing guidance as needed.
5. Manage delivery schedules of critical third-party deliverables.
6. Advocate for appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers.
7. Drive project success while managing risks.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience in Enterprise IT programs, process improvement, and software engineering project management.
2. Excellent communication skills in English.
3. Experience leading remote, cross-cultural, and global project teams and clients.
4. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
5. Deep understanding of Linux, open source, and cloud technologies.
6. Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
7. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) and Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master).
8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
