Project Manager – Engineering Contracts

Your role and responsibilities

1. Lead the project team with clear instructions, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
2. Manage all aspects of the project in accordance with the client's requirements and ensure that all the technical, safety, quality, and financial objectives are met.
3. Oversee the development of the project plan documents with respect to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
4. Monitor each stage of the implementation of the project to ensure best practices in cost control, resource use, risk management, and health, safety, and the environment.
5. Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, sharing lessons learned regularly.
6. Coordinate contract negotiations and equipment procurement in collaboration with the supply chain.
7. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
8. Live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with international exposure and proven achievements
• PMP certification recommended
• Fluent in French and English; French is required, English is also essential for servicing clients across provinces
• Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good business acumen and ability to maintain client relationships
