About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Engineering, the Project Manager, Engineering manages capital projects(Machinery & Equipment, buildings and facilities). This role is responsible for coordinating and executing engineering projects, ensuring the successful delivery of critical projects that enhance our manufacturing capabilities, optimizing processes, and supporting our commitment to excellence in production. Leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our engineering initiatives and contributing to the growth and efficiency of our operations. This role will be supporting both or our GTA Production sites located in Brampton and Weston.

***This opportunity is for a 12month contract.***

Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-year projects involving potentially all sites of Coke Canada manufacturing facilities.
  • Execution of project plans ensuring project scope, timing and budget goals are met.
  • Provide expertise in equipment upgrades and optimization(water treatment, syrup production, etc.).
  • Create equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers.
  • Manage suppliers and internal communications.
  • Participate in bid reviews and vendor selection.
  • Develop Multi-year capital plan for all manufacturing facilities in conjunction with fellow project managers through facilitation of Director of Engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent required with a University degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a requirement.
  • 3+ years of operations experience or maintenance preferred.
  • Technical expertise in facilities, processes and/or machinery utilized in the beverage industry.
