Qualifications

  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Management von Elektroverteilungsprojekten.

Job Description

CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team plays a vital role in the energy transition, supported by over 700 professionals. We specialize in sustainable energy projects, from feasibility to commissioning, providing innovative solutions tailored to our clients' needs. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager, Electrical Distribution Design, to oversee electrical utility projects, including overhead and underground distribution systems. You will manage project execution, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with standards, and client satisfaction. Familiarity with electrical and civil utility construction standards and design practices is essential. This role is based in Mississauga or Kitchener, Ontario.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical utility design projects and lead a team of up to 10 engineers/designers, handling budgets and deadlines.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple projects, track progress, manage budgets, and assess risks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients, facilitating collaboration and supporting team needs.
  • Provide technical support in distribution design, perform quality control, and review plans and standards.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing electrical distribution projects and teams.
  • Knowledge of Canadian regulations, standards, and client requirements, with familiarity with HONI, THESL, and Alectra standards as an asset.
  • Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
  • Proven leadership, project management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adaptable to changing demands.
