Job summary

Spectrum Health Care in Toronto is seeking a Project Manager, Digital and Enterprise Solutions to lead day-to-day activities, manage critical paths, and drive multi-department initiatives from kickoff to post-launch.

You will maintain delivery methods (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid), build strong stakeholder relationships, and translate operational updates into clear progress metrics while ensuring budgeting and scheduling across concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in project management in a health services environment.
• Certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is required.
• Change Management or Agile credentials (e.g., Prosci, PMI-ACP) are assets.
• Knowledge of PHIPA, PIPEDA, ITIL, ISO standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex, multi-departmental initiatives from launch through implementation and post-launch.
• Direct daily project activities and coordinate the project team to meet needs and expectations.
• Maintain delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) with schedules and backlogs.
• Maintain project documentation throughout all stages of the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with operational teams to track workflow updates and digitization tasks.
• Translate updates into clear progress tracking metrics for varied audiences.
• Track project budgets, resources, and timelines across concurrent projects.
• Monitor bottlenecks, manage critical paths, and update risk registers with mitigation plans.
• Support leadership in stakeholder meetings and incorporate feedback into plans.
• Provide regular updates to leadership through reports and presentations.
• Adhere to Spectrum Health Care safety and risk policies.
• Maintain understanding of Spectrum services to align project dependencies.

Job Description

• Coordinate complex, multi-departmental initiatives from launch through implementation and post-launch
• Direct daily project activities and coordinates the work of the members of the project team to ensure activities meet or exceed needs and expectations.
• Maintain the appropriate delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) by updating Gantt charts, sprint backlogs, and project schedules
• Maintains project documentation during all stages of the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with operational teams to track workflow updates, process changes, and digitization tasks
• Translate operational or technical updates into clear progress tracking metrics for varied audiences
• Track project budgets, resource allocations, and timelines across multiple concurrent projects.
• Monitor project bottlenecks, manage critical path dependencies, and update risk registers with standard mitigation plans
• Supports the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input, and expectations, and incorporates recommendations into project plans
• Provides regular updates to the leadership and other stakeholders as required through project reports, presentations
• Adhere to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of Spectrum Health Care.
• Work within the Ethical Practice Framework of Spectrum Health Care.
• Maintain an understanding of the services provided by each division of the Spectrum family to effectively align project dependencies

Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a project management role in a health services environment
• An undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or Business Administration
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification required
• Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci) or Agile credentials (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) are strong assets
• Strong knowledge of and experience implementing within regulatory requirements, best practices and industry standards including PHIPA, PIPEDA, ITIL, and ISO
• Mastery of project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com, MS Project) and collaborative enterprise tools
• Occasional travel between branch offices will be required and within the local community to attend business meetings
