Job summary

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro seeks a Project Manager, Construction in St. John's, NL, to drive projects from concept through implementation and into operations in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred), PEGNL eligibility, and a minimum of seven years of project management across the lifecycle. PMP and JD Edwards ERP experience are assets. Closing date is 2026-08-28.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• You have a proven track record in managing and supervising staff, excellent communications skills, strong interpersonal skills (including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff both internal and external)
• Project management experience and the ability to work in a team environment

What You'll Need:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.
• You must be eligible for membership with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) as either a professional member or engineer-in-training.
• A minimum seven (7) years work experience in project management, including all aspects of the project life cycle.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute would be considered an asset.
• Experience managing Enterprise Resource Planning implementations, specifically JD Edwards, would be an asset.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
