Job summary

Industra Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex water/wastewater, heavy civil, industrial and infrastructure projects across Canada. The role supports offices in multiple cities and may involve travel across Ontario and Eastern Canada.

You will own project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, and client relations, coordinating with subcontracts and site teams to deliver on-time, on-budget projects.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Experience delivering civil, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar CM software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules with milestones and client expectations.

  • Manage project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, PO's, meeting minutes.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance and alignment with requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
  • Lead monthly reporting, progress billing, and financial reviews.
  • Monitor performance across schedule, cost, manpower, safety and quality.
  • Provide leadership to site teams and conduct site visits.

Industra Construction Corp. is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex water/wastewater, heavy civil, industrial and infrastructure construction projects across BC and Canada - We are considering applications from Candidates located in Surrey, Kelowna, and Mississauga. Our preference is for the Project Manager to be based in one of our existing offices. However, we may consider Edmonton-based candidates who would initially work remotely and transition to an Edmonton office once one is established.


We’re looking for a Project Manager who knows how to take ownership of a project — managing theschedule, budget, contracts, procurement, subcontractors, client relationships and site coordination required to deliver successfully.


Experience withWater/Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), Pump Stations, Heavy Civil, Industrial, Municipal Infrastructure, Process Mechanical or similar complex infrastructure construction is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution


  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with key milestones and client expectations.

  • Oversee coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.


Contract Administration & Documentation


  • Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and meeting minutes.

  • Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and reporting systems.


Procurement & Subcontractor Management


  • Lead procurement activities including material sourcing, pricing, and subcontractor selection.

  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure alignment with project requirements.


Cost Control & Reporting


  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.

  • Lead monthly reporting, progress billing, and financial reviews.

  • Monitor project performance across schedule, cost, manpower, safety, and quality.


Site & Stakeholder Management


  • Provide leadership and support to site teams, including Superintendents.

  • Conduct site visits as required to ensure project alignment and performance.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.


Qualifications


  • 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management.

  • Experience delivering civil, industrial, infrastructure, or structural projects preferred.

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.


Travel

This role supports projects across Ontario and may also provide support to projects throughout Eastern Canada. As a result, candidates must be willing and able to travel regularly to project sites, spending time in the field working alongside our operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Salary

$120,000-$180,000 plus Quarterly Bonus


Our Toronto office is conveniently located in Mississauga with quick access to major highways including the 401, 403, and 410, making commuting easy from across the GTA. It’s ideally situated for those coming from Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, and Vaughan, with a location that helps avoid heavy downtown Toronto traffic. The office is also close to Pearson International Airport, making it well-suited for project travel.
