WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific AV systems integration projects. You will ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements. You will coordinate all activities related to the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of projects, following AVI-SPL's project management processes and procedures.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Be an expert in contractual documentation to determine delivery timelines and allocate internal and third-party resources across project phases.
• Facilitate internal and external project kickoff meetings among sales, engineering, programming, fabrication & installation, customer resources, and third-party resources as needed.
• Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues with the team or escalating to management.
• Create and manage comprehensive project schedules and verify resource allocations.
• Facilitate project material and equipment orders.
• Manage all project expenditures and monitor budget throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues impacting profitability.
• Provide and review project status reports internally and externally, escalating issues to management.
• Ensure quality of work performed by internal and subcontracted resources.
• Alert management immediately to potential claims, back charges, or significant costs affecting AVI-SPL financially.
• Handle scope, schedule, cost, or change of terms in accordance with AVI-SPL procedures.
• Gather and supply close-out documentation for future reference.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, focusing on improving perceptions of on-time delivery, quality, communication, responsiveness, and problem-solving.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer communications regarding problems or concerns.
• Drive project results to meet customer requirements and AVI-SPL Net Score goals.
• Travel to various job sites as required.

• Experience managing projects in AV, construction, technology, or related industries.
• Knowledge of technical, contractual, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting AVI-SPL standards.

Nice-To-Haves:

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience in AV, construction, technology, or related fields.
• Understanding of AV system functionality and installation techniques.
• Formal education in AV, construction, technology, or related fields.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
