Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the timely, responsive, and proactive management of Wyse's Water Reno program, related meter installation activities, and the coordination and oversight of Wyse’s meter resealing program to support regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and timely completion.

This role requires project management fundamentals, strong data and tracking skills, technical understanding of metering systems, and the ability to work effectively with clients, property managers, contractors, inspectors, and internal teams.

The Project Manager ensures proper processes, validations, and records are in place to manage Water Reno and resealing work efficiently while promoting Wyse's quality, safety, regulatory, and customer service objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Water Reno program from installation coordination through verification, activation, billing readiness, invoicing, and closeout.
  • Maintain Water Reno trackers, installation schedules, customer records, meter mapping files, billing activation records, and invoicing documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, property managers, client contractors, Wyse contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely equipment delivery, access, installation, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate commissioning, suite verification, meter activation, and project updates in SuiteCRM and other relevant systems.
  • Manage meter mapping, including updating transceiver/meter IDs from the Wyse Portal and importing meter details into the Wyse Billing portal for activation.
  • Ensure installed meters are accurately verified, activated, and ready for billing before invoices are issued or accounts are transitioned.
  • Generate and submit invoices for completed Water Reno installations and provide client statements of account where required.
  • Work with Finance, Billing, Sales, Field Operations, IT, and Customer Service to resolve billing, data, activation, and communication issues.
  • Troubleshoot offline properties and meter communication issues through Jira, Meraki, IT, Billing, and field resources.
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on installation progress, offline meter status, open issues, billing readiness, and upcoming work.
  • Act as the key Wyse contact for Water Reno reporting, updates, escalations, data interpretation, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage resealing for electrical meters and SE04s, including planning, scheduling, contractor coordination, inspection readiness, documentation, issue resolution, and closeout.
  • Ensure resealing work is completed in accordance with Measurement Canada, OEB, ESA, and Wyse-specific requirements, where applicable.
  • Maintain resealing documentation, including meter details, seal records, inspection results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and completion status.
  • Coordinate with inspectors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve resealing issues and complete work within required timelines.
  • Provide technical support related to meter installations, meter mapping, resealing, suite verification, communication issues, and billing activation.
  • Conduct or coordinate inspections, suite verification, commissioning, and quality checks to confirm meter performance and installation accuracy.
  • Promote safety and regulatory compliance across Water Reno and resealing work, including clear direction to subcontractors on Wyse standards.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, validating, and summarizing installation, billing, offline meter, resealing, and project performance data.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase accuracy, reduce billing delays, and strengthen Water Reno and resealing execution.
  • Ensure operating best practices, strong documentation control, and a clean health and safety record.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the position as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of project coordination or project management experience, preferably in utility, submetering, metering, construction, property management, or related industries.
  • College diploma or university degree in business, project management, engineering, construction, data management, electrical/mechanical technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional designation or project management training is considered an asset.
  • Strong planning, organizational, time management, administrative, documentation, and data management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and mark up basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP, CRM, billing, ticketing, or field service systems is an asset.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, inspectors, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates, elevate issues, and explain technical or process-related information.
  • Working knowledge of Measurement Canada, OEB, ESA, or utility metering requirements is considered an asset.

  • Some travel is required, mainly within Ontario, but also could include rest of Canada.
  • Client sites’ visits as needed.
