Job summary

Teamworx seeks two Project Managers for its new Programme Management Office in Westport, Ireland. The role focuses on turning strategy into measurable results by coordinating with the Head of Growth Strategy, CEO, and Board to deliver key projects from planning to delivery.

The position is five days on-site at head office with some domestic travel; travel expenses are covered. You will drive structured project governance, reporting and accountability across the group.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years proven project management experience.
• Commercial awareness of impact on revenue and costs.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic projects from planning through to implementation.
• Collaborate with heads of departments to define clear plans, timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Track progress, flag risks, dependencies, and resourcing issues early.
• Measure commercial impact: revenue growth, cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Prepare concise progress reports for senior management and the Board.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established, family-owned Irish retail and manufacturing group, has an ambitious 2030 strategy with major growth, cost-saving and transformation projects planned across the business.

They're looking for two commercially minded, highly organised Project Managers to join their new Programme Management Office. You'll help turn strategy into measurable results, working closely with the Head of Growth Strategy, department heads, the CEO and the Board to bring structure, momentum and accountability to key projects from planning through to delivery.

The role is based at head office five days a week, with some domestic travel to other sites. All travel is fully expensed.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing strategic projects from planning through to implementation
• Working with department heads and project owners to set clear plans, timelines, responsibilities and deliverables
• Tracking progress and flagging risks, dependencies, resourcing issues and roadblocks early
• Measuring the commercial impact of projects, including revenue growth, cost savings and efficiency gains
• Preparing clear, concise progress reports for senior management and the Board
• Supporting project and strategy review meetings and making sure actions are followed through
• Challenging existing ways of working and finding ways to improve processes and delivery
• Helping build consistent project management tools, reporting and governance across the group

What You'll Need

• Proven project management experience, ideally 2 to 5 years
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how projects affect revenue, costs and profitability
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to bring structure to complex work
• Confidence with data, spreadsheets and reporting tools
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
• A project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or business transformation
• Proven track record managing multiple client projects at once

You're organised, commercially minded and practical. You're comfortable with ambiguity, happy to ask questions, and able to influence people at all levels without needing direct authority. You're persistent, focused on getting things done, and able to turn complex information into clear, actionable updates.
