Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Project Manager IM-related Level 2 for a 1 year onsite assignment in Victoria, BC. You will lead a complex payment technology migration, coordinating across vendors, public sector stakeholders, and multiple teams.

Strong governance, risk and fiscal control experience is required, with emphasis on integration, scheduling, and compliance. Onsite work hours apply Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of PM experience in public sector or similar environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish project structure, team, resources, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Lead integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and delivery activities.
• Coordinate implementation with Akkodis stakeholders and third-party providers.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, changes, budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables.
• Establish project management team and required resources.
• Develop and maintain project plan, timeline, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Support configuration and readiness of revenue, chargeback, retrieval, and related reporting.
• Coordinate access to payment-processing systems.

Note on Assignment Type

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Project Manager IM-related Level 2 to lead and coordinate a complex payment technology and service migration initiative.

The successful consultant will bring strong experience in project public sector, stakeholder management, multidisciplinary team leadership, risk management, financial and schedule management, and the preparation of formal project management artifacts.

The engagement involves coordination across multiple stakeholder groups and technology providers, with responsibilities spanning merchant and financial setup, payment hardware migration, e-commerce migration, operational readiness, and PCI compliance.

Scope

• Establish and maintain the project structure, project management team, resource requirements, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Lead project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and delivery management activities.
• Coordinate implementation activities with Akkodis stakeholders and applicable third-party technology and payment service providers.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables.
• Establish the project management team and required resources.
• Develop and maintain the project plan, timeline, milestones, and key deliverables
• Support configuration and readiness of revenue, chargeback, retrieval, and related operational reporting.
• Coordinate and establish required access to payment-processing systems.

Must Have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience within the last 7 years working as a Project Manager with experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Project Integration Management
• Project Scope Management
• Project Time Management
• Project Cost Management
• Project Quality Management
• Project Human Resource Management
• Project Communications Management
• Project Procurement Management
• Project Delivery
• Demonstrated Project Manager experience on at least three projects, each with a duration of 8 months or longer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder-management and consensus-building experience.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with management, business stakeholders, staff, technical teams, and other project participants.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with e-commerce payment platform migrations and production cutovers.
• Familiarity with TMS/Mainframe environments.
