Job description

6-month contract Project Manager role working with an enterprise organization who have invested heavily in data and analytics.

• 6-month contract Project Manager role.
• Delivering data integration and reporting projects.
• Global enterprise organization with a hybrid work environment in Vancouver.

What & Why:

As a result of investment in technology, our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their data and analytics team. You should be a seasoned project manager with experience leading agile scrum teams in a product centric environment. You will be focused on delivering projects related to data integration, so you should have solid experience delivering these sorts of projects for large-scale organizations. You will work closely with data engineers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define objectives, manage risks, and ensure alignment with business goals. This team oversees Snowflake, Azure services, Databrick and does some PBI, so someone with experience in those areas would be great. This is a rapidly growing team delivering huge ROI to the business.

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week in office.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• At least 8+ years’ experience in an IT project management role driving big data, data warehousing, enterprise reporting, data science, and analytics solutions.
• Experience with modern data technologies like Snowflake and Azure.
• Experience leading agile teams or leading an agile transformation.
• Experience working in a project/product matrixed organization.
• Experience managing both data warehouse integration and reporting projects is preferred.
• Experience managing budgets in excess of $1M.
• PMP certification considered an asset.
• Preferred technical skillset: JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Smartsheets, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Snowflake, Azure, Microsoft Suite.

Compensation:

This role pays between $90-105 per hour.
